Who is the mechanic and business owner? Meet Dick Krijt. Dick has built his reputation as a reliable mechanic and a trustworthy operator in The Hills, Foothills and Ferntree Gully area. Dick is also well known in the industry, having successfully established and operated other auto workshops and mechanical repair businesses, including New Belgrave Motors (20 years to 2016).

Residents of Belgrave, Upwey, Tecoma, Ferny Creek, Sassafras, Olinda, Rowville, Lysterfield, Boronia and Ferntree Gully, continue to return to Krijt’s Automotive.  Son, Jacob Krijt also plays a very supportive role and brings another 15 years experience on board. Jacob has had extensive training and practice in the industry, both in reputable and large local dealerships and private business. His exposure to the industry incorporates both petrol and diesel systems and familiarity with domestic and light commercial vehicles. Jacob’s experience also includes a sound background in dealing with administrative requirements for fleet management and risk management systems.

Dick and Jacob are both passionate about their work and share an interest in classic cars on the side. This interest fosters a sound knowledge of all things mechanical and enables them to resolve numerous issues regardless of the age or type of vehicle.
